OAM 11g: Numerous Occurrences of Error "PBL_CHECK_VALID_SESSION_RESPONSE ERROR" in Log (Doc ID 1967328.1)

Goal

During load testing we're experiencing these messages in our OAM server logs. Sample log entry is:

<2-Feb-2015 2:56:10 o'clock PM AST> <Error> <oracle.oam.proxy.oam> <BEA-000000> <Session invalid as returned by  CHECK_VALID_SESSION_RESPONSE responseEvent fail for user DnU=cn%3DLANDRYPC,cn%3DUsers,dc%3Dncr,dc%3Dpwgsc,dc%3Dgc,dc%3Dca>

Can this be ignored?
