OAM 11g: Numerous Occurrences of Error "PBL_CHECK_VALID_SESSION_RESPONSE ERROR" in Log (Doc ID 1967328.1)

During load testing we're experiencing these messages in our OAM server logs. Sample log entry is:

<2-Feb-2015 2:56:10 o'clock PM AST> <Error> <oracle.oam.proxy.oam> <BEA-000000> <Session invalid as returned by  CHECK_VALID_SESSION_RESPONSE responseEvent fail for user DnU=cn=<VALUE>,cn=Users,dc=<VALUE>,dc=<VALUE>,dc=<VALUE>,dc=<VALUE>>

Can this be ignored?
