How To Persist Changes To ParallelPoolSize & ParallelQueueSize for WebCenter Portal (Spaces) ADFConfig:PortletConfiguration (EM Entry) (Doc ID 1967450.1)

Last updated on NOVEMBER 07, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Portal - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Attempting to change the ParallelPoolSize and ParallelQueueSize in Spaces ADFConfig:PortletConfiguration through Enterprise Manager and via wlst but the changes never commit.  Neither commits properly and the value always reverts back to the default values of ParallelPoolSize =10 and ParallelQueueSize =20.

To change the portlet queue or pool size from the MBean browser, we opened the EM and login as administrator. Selected the WebCenter application and then the MBean browser. From the MBean tree go to Application Defined MBeans -> oracle.adf.share.config -> Server: -> Application: webcenter -> ADFConfig -> ADFConfig

We then clicked on the PortletConfiguration. Once the values were changed we clicked Apply. However, when we went back to check we found that the value had reverted back to it's original.

We also tried this using wlst, but got errors when trying the listPortletClientConfig and setPortletClientConfig scripts....
