B2B 11g - Unable to Use Period "." as a Filename Separator on Listening Channel (Doc ID 1968825.1)

In B2B (, an external trading partner sends files with periods (".") as a separator in the filename. Example filename is: H000.USB1OHS2.15.023

Setup involves a custom document type and definition that is basic, so that file would be passed through and the correct agreement will be found.

On the listening channel:

  Set the Filename Separator per Note 1911988.1 = "." (period)
  Filename format = %DOCTYPE_REVISION%.%DOCTYPE_NAME%.*

And the above errors with:

As a test, if one change the filename = H000@USB1OHS2@15@023 and Filename Separator = @, then the file successfully processes.
