Symptoms
The same cache configuration file is used by the proxy and storage nodes in a cluster, and contains the following proxy scheme definition, where the highlighted elements are key to the problem:
No error is reported when a proxy node is started with the system properties extend.service.host and extend.service.port set to valid values, which are used to override the default empty values supplied in the cache configuration file.
The same configuration works fine in 12.1.2 but fails in 12.1.3.0.0 and 12.1.3.0.1.
