Symptoms
A JAX-RPC service is invoked with a proprietary XML token in the HTTP header. In this instance (for example) the application is configured to work with either a SAML2 assertion (WSS SAML SOAP Profile 1.1) -OR- a proprietary XML token in HTTP header. This application with its web services works in WebLogic 12.1.1.0 correctly.
-However, this configuration does not appear to support SAML with WebLogic 12.1.2.0
