java.lang.NullPointerException when starting EMS in BAM 12c (Doc ID 1986578.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3.0.x version, BAM EMS

A JMS queue / Connection Pool have been created in order to push data to BAM 12c according to this documentation:

An Enterprise Message Source (EMS) is created in BAM Composer 'Administrator' referencing the queue's JNDI.

This EMS can be started initially without problems.

However, after a domain restart the following error is seen when attempting to start the same EMS:
