Remove OAAM Integration From Identity Management 11.1.2 Suite (Doc ID 1986767.1)

Goal

A customer has an integrated Oracle Access Manager (OAM), Oracle Identity Manager (OIM) and Oracle Adaptive Access Manager (OAAM) following directions from Enterprise Deployment guide for 11.1.2. For reasons beyond their control (licensing, complications etc.), the customer needs to remove OAAM from the configuration and keep only OAM and OIM integrated.

Are there any documented steps to cleanly remove this integration, or any suggestions or documentation around how to achieve this?
