Goal

source server, exadata, GG Version 12.1.2.0.0 (runs under oracle) extract writes trail files over to a shared drive with 0640 owner oracle (uid=1001), group oinstall (gid=1001).

target server, GG Version 11.2.1.0.17 (runs under oracle) extract pump reads trail files from the shared drive with 0640 owner oracle_exa (uid=1001), group oinstall_exa (gid=1001) and failed with OGG-01091 Unable to open file (error 13, Permission denied).
On target server oracle uid=101, oinstall gid=101.

if on source server, oracle changes trail file from 0640 to 0644 then target extract has no problem to read and process trail file.
