Symptoms
This issue is only known to impacts Portal Forms Reports and Discoverer (PFRD) install type when patched directly from 11.1.1.2 to 11.1.1.7. This does not affect PFRD when patching from 11.1.1.4 or 11.1.1.6 to 11.1.1.7.
Two seemingly disjoint issues have been found branching from the same misstep of not patching SSL Required Files via the 11.1.1.7 Patchset. See Cause section for detail.
ISSUE ONE
After patching PFRD from 11.1.1.2 to 11.1.1.7, OHS will not start with the following error sets in the OHS error log:
ORACLE_INSTANCE/diagnostics/logs/OHS/component_name/component_name.log
If using an Auto Login Only wallet (.sso file) the following error is observed:
