Authentication Level of Authentication Schemes Are Set to 1 In Integration of OIM and OAM (Doc ID 1994725.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 21, 2016

Applies to:

Oracle Access Manager - Version 11.1.1.5.6 and later
Identity Manager - Version 11.1.1.5.6 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

In integration of OIM and OAM, we should set the same authentication level(authN level) among the authentication schemes you are using.

If you set the authentication level between both OIMScheme and other(for example LDAPScheme) to "2" or more than "2" and you use the password warn page provided by OIM, then you never redirect to the password warn page.

If you set "1" as authentication level in both OIMScheme and other, it works fine.

The password warn page provided by OIM notifies users of expiration of their passwords and the context is "/admin/faces/pages/pwdmgmt.jspx".
