Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Using Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) 12.1.3 Groovy code to add source connector in a Mapping.

If only two connectors are added, it works fine.

If the requirement is to add more than two connectors, then it fails in ODI 12.1.3, which used to work fine in 12.1.2

Steps to reproduce with ODI SDK using Groovy:

Issue related to the same behavior of adding connectors in Designer in the Mapping: Two can be connected, but on the Properties window for a new Set object for example, in the input connections there are two listed by default, there is a "green Plus" button to add a new one, and it does not work. The button does not do anything. It does not add new inputs. Until on the diagram one connects inputs (like filters).

Steps to reproduce in ODI Studio:

  1. Open a existing mapping or create a new mapping add a Set component.
  2. In the Set properties window go to Operators section and for Input Connector Points click on the 'green plus' button to add another. It simply does not work.
