Portal Membership Changes in WebCenter Portal Do Not Update the Uniquemember Attribute in the Application Roles in the Policy Store (Doc ID 1996019.1)

Symptoms

 

It is noticed that making Membership changes to Portals in WebCenter Portal doesn't add/remove a uniquemember attribute to the Application Role in the OID Policy Store.

 


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect to see uniquemember attribute added to the Portal Application Roles in the policy store when adding users to a Portal.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

 

  1. Add a user as Participant in a Portal.
     
  2. Get the Portal Internal ID.
    You can get this from the Overview page of the Portal under Manage -> All Settings.

     
  3. Query the Participant Role in the OID Policy Store.
    Search: <Portal Internal ID>#-#Participant
     

     
  4. dObserve there is a new orcljaznprinicpal entry but no new entries for uniquemember attribute.
