Reports Builder on Linux Crashes accessing Report Wizard or Running a Report (Doc ID 1996951.1)

Symptoms

Reports Builder on Linux 32 bits

When attempting to access the report wizard or run an existent report
the following error occurs.

ERROR

*** glibc detected *** rwbuilder: double free or corruption (!prev): 0x97dbc168 ***
or
rwbuilder: malloc.c:3091: sYSMALLOc: Assertion `(old_top == (((mbinptr) (((char *) &((av)->bins[((1) - 1) * 2])) - __builtin_offsetof (struct malloc_chunk, fd)))) && old_size == 0) || ((unsigned long) (old_size) >= (unsigned long)((((__builtin_offsetof (struct malloc_chunk, fd_nextsize))+((2 * (sizeof(size_t))) - 1)) & ~((2 * (sizeof(size_t))) - 1))) && ((old_top)->size & 0x1) && ((unsigned long)old_end & pagemask) == 0)' failed.
Abort


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Launch Reports Builder using
$cd $ORACLE_INSTANCE/config/reports/bin
$ ./rwbuilder.sh
2. Once it opens try to access the reports wizard and see the crash
3. Or Open an existent report connect to the database and try to run it to see the crash too

 New Installation of FMW Developer option in this linux machine (SLES11)
