Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Internet Directory - Version 11.1.1 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Oracle Internet Directory (OID) 11g, e.g., 11.1.1.7.0 version.

New OIDs cloned from a working set of OIDs.

(Note: Also ran into the known issue from Document 1607479.1 of oidmon "gsluslldConnect: Failed to connect to <source OID host:port>, and already applied the documented workaround steps.  In addition, corrected missing indexes reported in the oiddiag by running "bulkload index=true".)

Unable to manage entries in the new/cloned OID.

For example, adding users to new OID fails with LDAP Error Code 20 - user exists:

Existing MOS Notes for the same error have not helped.
