Symptoms
Trying to access an APEX instance using a URL which does not use LOCALHOST fails and an error such as (or similar) is displayed.
This webpage is not available
In short the following URLs fail.
Where as the following works:
NOTE : PORT may be 8080, just as example of the the port the XDB HTTP Listener is listening on.
This makes it difficult to access the APEX instance from another end user / client machine.
