HTTP 404 error when requesting a vanity url page (Doc ID 1999038.1)

Symptoms

404 errors are seen in a) OHS access logs and b) RSS access log, when requesting vanity urls via OHS.

OHS access log error:
10.24.131.4 - - [08/Apr/2015:16:46:55 +0100] "GET /myvanityurl HTTP/1.1" 404 663 2193597

RSS access log error:
10.56.48.120 - - [08/Apr/2015:16:46:56 +0000] "GET /cs/Sites?lookuphost=https://hostname.com&lookuppage=myvanityurl HTTP/1.1" 404 1164
