On : 11.1.1.7.0 version, SOA Fusion Apps
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Set the "Escalation" properties for a task and observe the same settings are populated to "Expire". This is the root cause of task getting missed.
As the settings are getting populated to expire, task is getting expired and the user is unable to find the task.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. set the "Escalation" properties for a task
2. Observe that the task is set to expire.
BPM Worklist > AbsencesApprovalsTask. Not in edit mode.
Deadlines is set to Do Nothing
Clicked Edit > Deadlines > Escalate > 3 minutes. Commit change, without clicking on Expire
Go back into the screen - Expire is set to 3 minutes, even though this was not selected
