Symptoms

Unable to deploy an application ear under Weblogic 12.1.3 <Version: WebLogic Server 12.1.3.0.0  Wed May 21 18:53:34 PDT 2014 1604337 >

Upon activation, it fails with: java.lang.NullPointerException

 

Changes

 The same application ear runs without any issues under Weblogic 12.1.1.0.7: WebLogic Server 12.1.1.0.7 PSU Patch for BUG18269889 Tue Apr 08 10:53:59 IST 2014
