Goal

Have developed Task Flows using ADF and now planning to integrate those with WebCenter Portal.
While reviewing the recommendations for doing so you find the following recommended practice.

"Including descriptors
Descriptors in custom shared libraries, such as web.xml and application.xml, merge with corresponding descriptors deployed with the WebCenter Portal application.
To avoid corrupting your WebCenter Portal installation, Oracle recommends that you do not include descriptor files in your custom shared libraries."

The application was written to require descriptor elements which need to be defined to allow the proper deployment.
