An Exception "JSF1054: (Phase ID: RESTORE_VIEW 1, View ID: )" is Reported in the GlassFish Instance Log File (Doc ID 2005814.1)

Symptoms

The exception "JSF1054: (Phase ID: RESTORE_VIEW 1, View ID: )" is reported in the server.log:

This error can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Login to Admin console.
  2. Click Stand-Alone Instances > server (Admin Server) - General page is displayed and do not close the browser
  3. Restart Glassfish Admin Server
  4. Click the Monitor tab on the page displayed at step 2
