OUD - How to Verify OS Version / JDK Version is Certified with Specific Versions (Doc ID 2008449.1)

Last updated on APRIL 27, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Unified Directory - Version 11.1.1.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

To verify certification of OS versions / JDK versions with specific OUD versions and to find out the Java version OUD is running

Note: Additional security has been added to JDK versions where endpoint identification is now enabled on LDAPS connections.
After a JDK version has been upgraded (or if a specific JDK version is configured with OUD), there may be errors with any connections over LDAPS which includes running OUD commands (like dsconfig, status, ldap[search/modify/delete] using the secure port).

For more info -
OUD 11g/12c - CertificateException: No name matching <hostname> Found With JDK8u181 & JDK7_191 Versions and Greater (Doc ID 2470313.1)
