Getting "Directory lookup error" in the server.log of Oracle Traffic Directory (Doc ID 2008881.1)

Symptoms

Intermittent connection problem is observed with Oracle Traffic Director (OTD) and a bounce of server is required to correct the behavior. The following "Directory lookup error" is seen in the Oracle Traffic Directory logs:
