Symptoms


After enabling TSLv1.2 in the domain, starting the WC_Portlet managed server takes longer to start sometimes showing 'StuckThread' error.


STEPS


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Change JDK to Sun.
     
  2. Start the WC_Portlet Managed server with the following java properties:

      -Dweblogic.security.SSL.minimumProtocolVersion=TLSv1.2
      -Dweblogic.security.SSL.enableJSSE=true
      -Dweblogic.ssl.JSSEEnabled=true

  3. Start WC_Portlet and you will see it takes longer to start and sometimes it will show the 'StuckThread' error.
