Symptoms

Web Service Integration from WebLogic to Jboss via HTTPS using self signed cert.
Connection via HTTP is successful.
The certificate has been imported to WebLogic but an error occurs when trying to establish the connection:

javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: Received fatal alert: handshake_failure.
