Login Dialog Hangs After Submitting Credentials - WinINet 12156 (Doc ID 2014258.1)

Symptoms

In this scenario, the login page does appear. The user submits valid credentials. However, the login page then appears to "hang" with no apparent activity. After as much as 20 minutes, an error finally appears similar to:

ADFDI-00500: unable to execute Wininet method HttpSendRequest; error code: 12156
