Oracle Traffic Director (OTD) Instances Configured with WebGate Plugin Shows Memory Usage Increasing Continuously On OTD Nodes (VMs) Causing Out Of Memory (Doc ID 2014440.1)

Symptoms

On OTD 11.1.1.7.0 version configured with WebGate Plugin, OTD instances are using a lot of memory up to 3GB

After 6 Hours we saw the below Utilisation

Memory Process ID

5.8G 16615
5.2G 16629
5.0G 16632
5.6G 16633

and after few mins the vm is just Hung and not responding..

 


Due to this issue, users cannot access when OTD uses a lot of memory and having hang outage.
