OUD11g: Can the Temporary Directory Location (Used for Replica Initialization by Running 'dsreplication initialize') Be Modified?
(Doc ID 2014527.1)
Last updated on OCTOBER 31, 2019
Applies to:Oracle Unified Directory - Version 220.127.116.11.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
When the 'dsreplication initialize' command is executed, the <instance-dir>/import-tmp directory
of the destination OUD instance is used as a temporary working directory.
If the OUD DB size is huge, you may run out of disk space where the destination instance exists
and there's no option to specify a temporary directory like when using the 'import-ldif' command with the --tmpDirectory option.
For more information about import-ldif and the --tmpDirectory option -
Is there any way to change the temporary directory that is used to initialize a replica when running the dsreplication initialize command?
