Question was raised: will Oracle support a customer installing the existing Oracle MessageQ V5.0 product with the latest available Rolling Patch applied on Alpha-based systems with the OpenVMS 8.4 operating system installed so that in the future if a potential software defect is identified, a service request may be logged with Oracle support regarding the potential defect and if MessageQ engineering confirms the behavior they would then develop, verify, and release a new Rolling Patch to address the defect?
