How to Determine If A Database User Has Access to Multiple DB Schemas Without Restarting The Server?
(Doc ID 2017417.1)
Last updated on NOVEMBER 03, 2022
Applies to:
Oracle WebCenter Sites - Version 11.1.1.8.0 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Goal
A WebCenter Sites database user should only be given access to its own schema. For example, the user should not be given DBA role or SELECT ANY DICTIONARY system privileges, which would allow the user to access other schemas in the same database.
When in doubt, this KM provides instructions for verifying the DB schemas that the user has access to without restarting the server, if ResultSet cache (Linked-Cache) is enabled over inCache.
