Symptoms
After upgrading to Oracle iPlanet Web Server 7.0.18 or above, the following message is seen in the error log:

Since NSS 3.14 , which has been incorporated into Oracle iPlanet Web Server 7.0.18 and above, support for certificate signatures using the MD5 hash algorithm is now disabled by default.
