A rack of Exalogic servers with NIS or LDAP configured via vservers on the rack, failed to come up properly. The following symptoms were observed:
- Some mount points were missing
- The "df -h" command hangs after showing mount for /mnt/ExalogicControl
- ExalogicRepo was mounted, but the command "ls /OVS/Repositories/0*" took approximately 60 seconds to complete and of the expected mounts below, Only the first one was present.
192.168.21.5:/export/ExalogicPool on /nfsmnt/ddfbcc53-40b1-49ef-a617-4ede0025d1dc type nfs (rw,addr=192.168.21.5)
/dev/mapper/ovspoolfs on /poolfsmnt/0004fb0000050000e5e9d481ff3f960e type ocfs2 (rw,_netdev,heartbeat=global)
- The o2cb cluster is offline because of missing pool mount
Occurred immediately after an unplanned, total power outage
