Symptoms

Two mechanisms are being used to restrict access to an asset:
• Access Permissions restricts editing (and other functions) to a particular role (Example 1)
• Workflow acts on this asset using a different role (Example 2)

Once the asset has been created and pushed to a workflow step that assigns the Example 2 role, it can no longer be edited even though the user possesses both the Example 1 and Example 2 roles.
