Notice: Action May Be Required for Continued Connectivity to Oracle Support
On October 31, 2015 Oracle changed the IP addresses for the ASR services listed in the table below.
If you have network configurations that are still using the old IP addresses, your ASR service will stop functioning on December 13, 2015.
Please take immediate action with your network configuration and firewalls to prevent an interruption in your ASR service.
Old IP Address
New IP Address
(Note that callhome-pillar.oracle.com is an alias to callhome.support.pillardata.com)
No Change Needed:
- Customers that have not configured their network configuration (routers, firewalls, DNS, ...) to use these Oracle IP addresses.
- Customers using CAM 6.9 or greater.
Customers explicitly limiting outbound traffic at their firewall to the current IP address(es) will no longer be able to send events to Oracle.
These customers will need to enable the new IP addresses for outbound traffic.
Common Array Manager (CAM):
CAM versions older than 6.9 are potentially affected by the IP address change. An alternative to
performing the network configuration changes is to update to the 6.9 or newer version of CAM.

After the DNS update has been completed, ASR heartbeats will confirm the connection to the new IP addresses. If the heartbeat messages are not received at Oracle
the ASR assets will change to the "Active - No Heartbeat" status in My Oracle Support and the customer will receive an email with instructions to resolve the problem.
