Getting 'Failed to invoke operation load on MBean' Error When Accessing The OHS Configuration Or Wallet Using Enterprise Manager FMW Control (Doc ID 2033241.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 11, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle HTTP Server - Version 11.1.1.5.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When trying to access any part of the OHS configuration in the Enterprise Manager FMW Control, the following error is displayed, and the configuration can not be edited:

The number at the end of the line indicates the line of the httpd.conf file that the error occurred in. If configuration has been added to the httpd.conf file after the 'include' lines, it can be difficult to track down exactly which line this is as Enterprise Manager FMW Control sees all the config files as a single httpd.conf file.

For example, the error could indicate line 2100 as above, yet the httpd.conf file may only contain 1500 lines.
