"Reports Builder has stopped working" Message when Attempting to Open a Seeded Applications Report in Builder 10.1.2.0.2

Unable to open seeded Applications reports, like APXT7RVT.rdf, in Reports Builder 10.1.2.0.2. The Reports Builder crashes with the following message.
"Report Builder has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available."
However, can successfully open custom reports without any issues.
Need to open seeded reports only to check the SQL code.
Problem reproduces with Reports Builder 10.1.2.0.2 on both Windows 7 (32-bit) and Windows 7 (64-bit) platforms with same error message.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Invoke Reports Builder 10.1.2.0.2
2. Open seeded report (for example, APXT7RVT.rdf)
Installed Developer Suite 10.1.2.0.2.
