Sometimes catopen() Fails When Using TM_OS_CAT (Doc ID 2039010.1)

Symptoms

When setting TM_OS_CAT=/lib64/libc.so.6 (64bit) or /lib/lib.so.6 (32bit) to use OS provided catopen(),catgets() and catclose() on Linux platform, from times to times the catopen() return -1 and as a side effect generating in the Tuxedo Application log file (a.k.a. ULOG) the following message:

151202.hostname!?proc.xxxxx.2415640240.-2: WARN: Cannot open this OS-provided message catalogue.
