Kerberos SSO fails when using more than one Identity Asserter (Doc ID 2042346.1)

Symptoms

The customer application has been installed, configured for SSO, command line options added, and server bounced. After proper client configuration, we observe that the Kerberos ticket is sent, decrypted, user extracted and validated within the Security realm, but identity has not been properly asserted, so authentication defaults to BASIC. In the log file we observe the following snippet:
