Symptoms
In ODI 11g you can use ODI Variables in topology to create a single parametric connections to reference multiple databases.
In order to do so, you can input in parametric data servers these parameters:
User, Password, JDBC URL, Schema, Work Schema.
Each of these fields contains an ODI Variable:
