Symptoms
Outside In ActiveX Viewer (OIX) 8.5.2 ships a HTML sample page, located at C:\Program Files (x86)\OIX\OutsideX\Samples\HTML\OutsideInOCX.html. This HTML page uses VBScript, which is not compatible with Internet Explorer (IE) 11.
