Last updated on APRIL 11, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle WebCenter Content - Version 11.1.1.8.0 to 11.1.1.8.0 [Release 11g]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When you have an MS SQL backend database, if you use the Not Matches operator on a field during a search the search will fail.

OR ( = ) is getting added to the end of the query and that is not a valid sql statement since it should have quotes to check for an empty string.
