Exporting/Importing a Portal in WebCenter Portal Does Not Migrate the Content (Doc ID 2046588.1)

Symptoms


ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

Exporting/Importing individual Portals in WebCenter Portal does not migrate the content.

 


EXPECTED BEHAVIOR

Expect to see the content after import.

 

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Created a portal in one Environment (e.g. DEV).
     
  2. Upload some content using the WebCenter Content UI.

  3. Add some content presenters using the content.

  4. Export/Import the portal to a target environment (e.g. QA).
     
  5. View the Portal in the target environment.
    Here you will see the content presenter doesn't show the content.
