Last updated on MARCH 08, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle Identity Federation - Version 11.1.1.7.0 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

In OIF federation setup when user clicks back button page errors with "Error 500--Internal Server Error"

This behavior is by design as per
Clicking Back Button After Federated Login Gives HTTP-500 Internal Server Error (Doc ID 743284.1)

Solution is to customize the 500 error message that occurs when user clicks the browser back button as per
