SQL Developer is used to connect to a non-Oracle database. When a SQL statement is issued, using SQL syntax that is specific to the type of non-Oracle database to which it is connected, the statment fails and raises an error.

Does SQL Developer support the proprietary SQL used by the non-Oracle databases to which we can connect from SQL Developer?
