Password Policy Authentication Module Does Not Return Invalid Username Password (OAM-2) As Expected (Doc ID 2049874.1)

Symptoms

When a user attempts to authenticate through the custom password policy authentication module with an invalid password, an OAM-4 error code (system error) is returned rather than the expected OAM-2 (invalid username/password) error code.  The password policy attributes are not updated.  When a correct username/password are used, the authentication works and the password policy attributes are successfully updated
