RP/TUXART Tuxedo ART For IMS ARTIMPP Server Should Be Allowed To Crash (Doc ID 2049977.1)

Last updated on FEBRUARY 16, 2024

Applies to:

Oracle Tuxedo Application Runtime for IMS - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Goal

Due to a MicroFocus error 200, the Tuxedo Application Runtime(also known as ART) for IMS ARTIMPP server process hangs.
-----------
On MicroFocus documentation :

200 Run-time system internal logic error (Fatal)
The amount of memory available on your machine is so low that not even the run-time system can be fully loaded.
Alternatively, your run-time system has stopped as a result of an internal logic error from which you cannot recover.
Resolution: Free some memory and then you should be able to run your program successfully.
Contact Technical Support who will help you to discover the cause of the error.
----------

Seems to be excessive memory usage affecting the 'ARTIMPP_UDB' server.
A core file is needed though to analyze the COBOL error. Request is for an enhancement to be able to generate a core file when needed.
