Enterprise Data Quality Results Browser View Not Displaying Any Data/Information Whenever Requests Come From Siebel To Enterprise Data Quality For Real Time Nor Batch Matching (Doc ID 2052726.1)

Last updated on DECEMBER 15, 2023

Applies to:

Oracle Enterprise Data Quality - Version 9.0.8 and later
Siebel Data Quality - Version 8.1.1.11.12 [IP2013] and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

When customer uses Siebel application to send matching request to EDQ, via the Siebel UI for real time and the Siebel DQMgr for batch, they are not able to see any data/output information in the EDQ Director > EDQ Results Browser View.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE:
-------------------------------

Customer tested the Siebel and EDQ integration with the following results:

1. When customer runs specific EDQ jobs directly in EDQ Director for matching, they can see the job data/output in the EDQ Results Browser View.

2. When using EDQ Web Service Tester to test a real time matching request, job data/output in the EDQ Results Browser View.

3. When sending a batch deduplication job request from Siebel DQMgr to EDQ, matches are returned to Siebel, but they are not able to see any results nor data in the EDQ Results Browser View.

4. When sending real time deduplication request from Siebel Client UI to EDQ, matches are returned to Siebel, but they are not able to see any results nor data in the EDQ Results Browser View.

It seems that whenever the request comes from outside of EDQ, ie. from Siebel (batch or UI/realtime), though the EDQ job runs and find/returns matches to Siebel, but the EDQ Results Browser View does not display anything.

BEHAVIOR PATTERN:
-------------------------------
Customer expects that the same type of output information is available in the EDQ Results Browser View for calls coming from Siebel to EDQ.

ERROR MESSAGE:
-------------------
There are no error messages that occurs with this issue, just the unexpected/undesired results being observed.
