Following a Change To Oracle Traffic Director, OTD Will Not Start As The 'obj.conf' File Has Become Truncated. (Doc ID 2053421.1)

Symptoms

OTD truncates <vs>-obj.conf file after changing an origin server IP Address through Admin Server console.

When trying to start the Server, the following errors are displayed:


This starts to occur after manually changing the obj.conf file to add an "<If></If>" block.

It doesn't occur every time, but randomly.

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1] Change something in the Admin Server console
2] Deploy changes
3] /admin-config/config-store//config/<vs>-obj.conf is truncated
4] //config/-obj.conf is truncated
5] Server won't start with above error.
