Symptoms
When attempting to start a managed server within a P6 EPPM domain from the WebLogic administration console, the following error occurs:
For server <server name>, the Node Manager associated with machine <machine name> is not reachable.
All of the servers selected are currently in a state which is incompatible with this operation or are not associated with a running Node Manager or you are not authorized to perform the action requested. No action will be performed.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
- Login to the domain's administration console (http://<server>:<port>/console).
- Navigate to the Environment > Servers > Control tab,
- Check the box next to the managed server name and select Start.
