Symptoms

When trying to validate the mapping rules in an Oracle Internet Directory (OID) Directory Integration Platform (DIP) 11g synchronization profile through the "Validate All Mapping Rules" button in Fusion Middleware (FMW) Enterprise Manager (EM) Control console, the following error message is displayed:

Map rules "orclodipattributemappingrules" have the following errors:
Domain rule "4" has error: Invalid source domain: 'cn=users,dc=<DC>,dc=<COMPANY>,dc=com' not found.
