Applying OIM Bundle Patch Overwrites Customizations in oracle.iam.ui.custom-dev-starter-pack.war (Doc ID 2059551.1)

Symptoms

As written in Fusion Middleware Developer's Guide for Oracle Identity Manager 11g Release 2 PS2 (11.1.2.2), OIM_HOME/server/apps/oracle.iam.ui.custom-dev-starter-pack.war is a place to do various types of customizations.

If such customizations are done, and OIM 11.1.2.2 bundle patch BP05 or later is applied, oracle.iam.ui.custom-dev-starter-pack.war is overwritten with the file from the patch, and customizations will be lost.
